Craft: Mandala Art


Children love colour and pattern, and this project delivers plenty of both!

Mandalas are a great way to teach children about repeating patterns and symmetry. A mandala is a geometric design that holds a great deal of symbolism in many cultures. Mandala, which is Sanskrit for “circle”, are circles arranged into sections that are all organised around a single, central point. They are just perfect for learning about radial symmetry!
