Welcome to this month's not-very-spooky, treat-filled update!
Hello! Well, the days may be getting shorter here in the northern hemisphere but to my mind that just means more knitting time AND time to wear all the woollies. In a way, it's what we knitters and crocheters find ourselves waiting for.
Anyhow, I have a great update for you this month. The yarn will all be up on the website at 7pm tonight (the 31st). I realise it may clash with certain other plans and can only apologise for that- it wasn't intentional!

Before I tell you more, I just want to say - it often takes me half the week following an update to pack up all the orders, so please bear with me and don't worry if you don't get your 'order shipped' email for a couple of days.
Poll Dorset
We took delivery of some of this year's beautiful Poll Dorset yarn - there's a limited quantity (because there are only so many sheep in the flock) each year. This is a sport weight yarn, so a bit thicker than 4ply/fingering weight, but not as thick as DK. It's very light, bouncy, and the closest thing I can compare it to is probably Shetland wool. It feels a bit coarse in the skein and some of you may find it a bit coarse, but I have to say I find that it's not itchy, and I have fairly sensitive skin. It knits into a beautiful fabric - incredibly light yet warm.
Corino 4ply
Another limited edition yarn for you - this is a corriedale-merino cross blended with grey Falkland wool, to give the yarn a beautiful light grey base shade. It's a 4ply/fingering weight, which creates a light, warm fabric with a matt finish. I can't think of what it compares to as it's a bit more woolly than pure merino, but doesn't have the lustre of something like BFL. It's really gorgeous to work with though (I've test-knitted it).

This yarn, along with the Poll Dorset, is in the Limited Editions section HERE

Pegasus Lace
An old favourite makes a return! There's no particular reason why I've not dyed this for a while - these things just happen. However this month I have dyed five lovely soft, shimmering batches of this baby alpaca/silk blend. It has 800m on a 100g hank, and as I'm sure you can imagine, works up with great drape and softness.
Aisling Kits
All three colours of Aisling kits are now back in stock! There's the richer Steel/Yarrow version, along with the two lighter coloured original versions - Rambling Rose/Campanula (was Ice) and Whispering Grass/Hibiscus.  Find them in the kits section HERE.

Look out for lots more kits arriving here in the next week or two!
Titus 4ply
You'll be pleased to hear there's lots more Titus 4ply back in this update. And that includes two very special colourways - Orkney Seascape and Orkney Landscape. They're gently variegated, and as you might guess from the names, are inspired by Orkney and the surrounding islands.

Please don't panic if the yarn you want sells out before you get any - I am always dyeing more.

Celebrating Drift
Our beautiful Drift collection turned one year old last month, which means that the lovely designers who contributed to it have now published their patterns on Ravelry. We've also got freshly printed Drift books in stock (HERE) - they're quite hefty tomes with good clear text and beautiful imaging throughout, so they're good value at £18 each (there are 12 patterns, comprising three adult garments, a child's garments, and lots of accessories).
Further to this - here's a treat for you - in celebration of Drift's anniversary, you can get 10% off Whitfell DK (that's our cosy baby alpaca) from now until the 19th of November with code G5W3XC9SG7 (simply enter it during checkout - there'll be box for you to put it in).
Are you going to Yarnporium at the weekend? Look out for lots of my yarn on the Inspiration Knits stand along with Louise's wonderful samples, patterns, and books! There's more information about it all HERE.
That's all for now (phew! It's been a while!) - enjoy the new yarn (and the rest of what's on the website too!), and watch out for exciting yarny news coming soon!
Remember: We ship worldwide, and offer free shipping on UK orders over £50, and international orders over £100.
