Morris Shambley Nominated to Serve Second Term on United Soybean Board
Morris Shambley, a soybean producer from Efland, N.C., was nominated by U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack to serve a second term as a director on the United Soybean Board. He and 16 other farmers will be sworn in at the upcoming board meeting of the USB. Continue to the NCSPA website to find out more about Shambley and the United Soybean Board. 
NCSPA at N.C. State Fair
The N.C. State Fair was held Oct. 10-25, 2015, and as usual, the North Carolina Soybean Producers Association enjoyed being a part of it. This year, the NCSPA placed one of the educational exhibits created for use on agritourism farms in the Gotta Be N.C. tent near the Kerr Scott Building for fairgoers to learn from and interact with.  Continue to our site to find out more about the exhibit at this years fair!


Annual Fall Board Meeting
This years annual fall board meeting will be held on November 12-13, 2015.  The meeting will take place at the DoubleTree RTP in Raleigh, NC. The Research Committee will also be reviewing the proposals for annual production of agriculture research.
