Livewell AGM

Come to our AGM, community visioning and pot luck dinner.

Our first AGM is a great opportunity to bring the entire Livewell community together to celebrate our achievements and plan our next steps. Partners and friends are welcome to attend.

A fair proportion of the time will be devoted to a visioning conversation – with all present discussing, how Livewell can operate and grow from here on, and questions provided to stimulate small and large group conversations.

If you want to get involved in the broader organisation there’ll also be opportunities to do so. You can stand for the committee, or contribute in a variety of other ways that we’ll discuss.

And you’ll be able to meet and get to know people from other Decarb groups.

After the formalities we will be celebrating with a pot luck dinner so please bring a plate of food to share.

When: 6:30 - 9:00pm Thursday 10th September

Where: Mark St Hall, 1 Mark St North Fitzroy

Please RSVP to by Monday 7th September.

We hope to see you there!

Sustainable House Day 2015

The aim of Sustainable House Day on 13 September is to provide an enjoyable, informative day that contributes to personal and community awareness of sustainable living. There are some fabulous green homes open across Victoria including Decarb group members Jenny and Ed's 'Backyard House' in Clifton Hill.

If you plan on visiting houses for SHD 2015 you will need to subscribe online to access the addresses of the houses that will be open.

Start planning your Sustainable House Day tour by subscribing online, checking out the homes and compiling a list of the homes you wish to visit by clicking the “Add to favourites” button listed on each house profile!

Your Home Book

On the topic of homes check out the Your Home Guide. It's a government publication that really is the bible for Australian sustainable housing.

If you like what you see, you can pick up a physical copy in store or online here - or check out the guide in full online at
