Organising online

Do you want to learn more about tools for online organising?
Some groups use Facebook, Googledocs, and Groupspaces and other online tools to help organise themselves, share documents and promote events.

Does your group use these?
Would you like to find out what they can do and how to use them?

We're looking at running a training event in mid-July to share knowledge about some of these tools.  Please let us know if there's a particular tool you'd like to know more about.

Beverage Container Recycling Grants

Keep Australia Beautiful is offering community grants to improve beverage container recycling.  Visit their website for the grant guidelines and to apply.
Applications close 30 June.
As usual, please let the Alliance know 3 weeks prior to the due date to arrange grant sponsorship if required.

Do you have a project or idea you think other Sustainable Neighbourhood volunteers around Lake Macquarie would be interested in? Email us at and we can include it in the next edition.
