Diverse populations and palliative care  |  Answering your questions   LGBTIQ+ communities and implications for palliative care

Diverse populations and palliative care

Death is a reality of life. When it comes to processing and coping with death, different groups may have varying needs and concerns. Health professionals need to be aware of these differences in order to provide appropriate care and support for their clients. Quality palliative care takes into account the cultural and spiritual needs of different groups.

Community members need to know where to find support and resources that can help.

Health professionals need to be aware of these differences in order to provide appropriate care and support for their clients.
