Glass in my webshop
Made during my residency on the fantastic island of Murano, next to Venice.
Murano, famous for its clear glass with special and secret ingredients, passed on from family to family.
Multiple times I worked at the glass factory of the Mian family. Together with their glassmasters and the assistents, we worked on a collection of glass sculptures to hang up on the wall. We experimented a lot with many colours and shapes. A process, so different from working with clay! And so special and beautiful. It all led to a series of ‘silent dance moves’ for your wall. Sometimes very smooth and firm, sometimes rough and pure.
