In Times Of Trouble

In times of trouble,
We cannot choose strength.
But, we can choose joy -
A joy that is solely based,
And squarely placed,
Upon the Lord;
Upon His Power and upon His Might.
Strength will follow.
So, be determined and confident.
And, do not be afraid of them.
For He is the Lord your God,
And, He will be with you.
He will not fail you nor abandon you,
And, He will be your light and your salvation.
The Lord will protect you from all danger;
Even when evil people attack and try to kill you,
Even if a whole army surrounds you,
Even if enemies attack you,
Trust only in Him.
And keep seeking one thing,
The one thing you have asked of the Lord;
Yes - continue to inquire for,
And insistently require that dwelling place,
That place within His Presence,
Where you behold only Him;
Where you gaze upon His beauty,
Where you meditate and consider,
And where you inquire of Him in His Temple.
For in these times of trouble,
He will shelter you;
He will keep you safe in His Temple,
And He will make you secure upon a high rock.
So you will triumph in joy and strength,
Over all the enemies around you.
And, with shouts of joy,
You will offer sacrifices in His Temple;
Yes - You will even sing for joy,
And, shout praises to the Lord Almighty!

(REF: Nehemiah 8:10/ Deuteronomy 31:6 / Psalms 27:1-6)
I am a child of God.
But as many as received Him,
to them He gave the right to become children of God,
even to those who believe in His name.

John 1:12
