Neo Project: Biomedical Materials Translational Facility (BMTF)
Biomedical Materials Translational Facility (BMTF) – Monash University
Monash BMTF

Following completion of previous successful stages of development Neo Construct was pleased to be engaged to complete the final stages of Monash University’s Blackburn Road redevelopment, known as the Biomedical Materials Translational Facility (BMTF).

This is a multi-million dollar initiative supported by government with Monash University and the CSIRO partnering to boost biomedical research and will provide an additional platform for researchers in diagnostics to work towards diagnoses and treatment of chronic cardiovascular disease and cancer.

The addition of the MR-PET Scanner and other world-class appointments within this facility ensures BMTF will remain at the forefront of innovative research for Monash University.

School of Journalism – Monash University
School of Journalism

The School of Journalism, located at the Caulfield Campus, was an extremely engaging project for Neo Construct. Designed by Vincent Crisp Architects, with the assistance of specialist consultants, it provides a state of the art facility allowing Monash University to compete at the highest level by providing courses for Journalism, Media and Publishing.

The project included news & media rooms, mix labs, radio studios and a theatrette. In conjunction with installation of progressive and innovative television, sound and media equipment it has resulted in the perfect environment to host these courses.

The project involved a range of exciting materials, finishes and colours and includes a glass wall to imitate the original television test pattern. The staff at Neo are proud to have played our part in bringing this project to life and in realising the ideas and goals of all involved including the architects and designers, consultants, our client Monash University and the end users.

Barry Bourke Motors Pre-Delivery Centre
Barry Bourke Motors Pre-Delivery Centre

Following on from the successful construction of the Barry Bourke Renault Dealership and with Neo’s extensive knowledge of this type of project Darren Bourke invited Neo to construct their new Pre-Delivery Centre.

The project included a 2,200m2 workshop, 340m2 pre-delivery area, 960m2 parts facility and 5,500m2 hardstand. The creation of this facility will allow the Barry Bourke franchise to streamline their operations and to consolidate multiple locations into one location whilst freeing up valuable space at the Melbourne dealership.

The project designed by Fred Friemann of ERA Architects, was completed on schedule allowing for the timely relocation of these onsite services to become centralised at Pakenham.

Neo Construct wishes Darren and the other partners the best.
