We have a write-in candidate for Register of Wills/Clerk of Orphans Court: Diana Carpenter! Make sure you write her in when you vote.

Vote YES to retain Supreme Court Justice Debra Todd. Vote for all our Judicial Candidates – Supreme, Superior, and Commonwealth Court – IT MATTERS.

Join us at the Downtown Lounge after the polls close!

PARTY BUSINESS

We’re updating our by-laws, creating a platform, firming up a calendar for 2018, and training committee people.

In case you didn’t notice, the new sign is up outside the office. Thanks to all who contributed and to Joel Smith who helped make it happen.

Leadership Summit task forces (and friends) will reconvene on 12/9 from 9 to noon to consolidate goals. Then 12/10 from 2 to 5 pm, we’ll do the hard work of fitting our plans and our financial resources together. All members are welcome to participate in these meetings in addition to those who worked on the task forces.

COMING EVENTS

On Halloween we’re having a “trick or treat” night for the children who come by our office. Young Dems are staging an HQ event for Art Walk on First Friday, November 3rd. Soon will be working on our Holiday Party in December. All of these are good opportunities for us to be a part of the community and make new friends.

We have lost a hardworking member of our Committee at only 47 years old.  Steve Wile was an ardent Committee member, who participated by circulating petitions, making phone calls to voters, and being a faithful Democratic voter.
     Consolations to his family.

You never know what you don’t know until you need it.

Do you want to be a committee person but you will be away during the petition signing time next year?  You can still do it, by taking these four easy steps:

1. Get another registered Democrat in your area to get you the required amount of signatures (and a few extra!) on your petition for committee person.

2. Have them sign and get it notarized before they mail it to you.

3. Then you sign it and get it notarized where you're staying or visiting.

4. Mail it back to them to hand it in, or mail it to the voter registration office in Lebanon before the deadline.
