During the last twelve months the Chamber has continued its regular and very successful business of networking events, including breakfasts, lunches and evening events. Most have been sold out, which is a fantastic achievement by all of us. 

For me, and I think for many of us, the Awards ceremony in the Abbey was the highlight of the year. As Vice-President, and then President, I’ve had the privilege to read the lesson in the Abbey but this was several levels above that. Congratulations to all involved and, in particular to Paul Rosenthal and Lisa Bates for making it happen. This year’s Awards will shortly be launched. Nominations are the lifeblood of Awards so please nominate freely.

Curry Evening
Thursday 7th May at 6pm

The general election is looming and the polls will be open from 7am to 10pm. After your vote why not come join us for a fantastic curry and networking evening at the Chilli Bar Kitchen restaurant on Thursday 7th May.

Lussmanns Fish & Grill named Sustainable Small Group of the Year for second year running!

A Hertfordshire restaurant group which recently became the first outside London to be accredited for serving sustainable fish, has been named Sustainable Small Restaurant Group of the Year. 

Lussmanns Fish and Grill owner Andrei Lussmann received the award from Raymond Blanc, President of the Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA), at the Sustainable Restaurant Awards, in London on 23 February.
