In March it was my privilege to assume the chamber presidency from Peter Goodman and in my address to the chamber membership present at the AGM it was fabulous to have the opportunity to thank Peter for his dedication and hard work during his tenure. I thoroughly enjoyed moderating the St Albans Question Time event which followed thereafter and in amongst trying to ensure balanced input from the five candidates whilst seeking to stimulate a good quality debate.

St Georges day lunch in support of
Renaissance St Albans
Over 350 guests from the business community enjoyed a traditional 3 course lunch at Sopwell House on Friday at the Chamber of Commerce legendary St George’s Day Lunch, organised by Lisa Bates.

Celebrating St George, history and culture in style at Sopwell House Hotel, the event was sponsored by Santander Corporate & Commercial led locally by Lee Francis. The guest speaker, Times columnist Matthew Parris was sponsored by local law firm SA Law.
