Sean Bullock and Julianne Black would like to formally invite all members of First Christian Church to attend their wedding ceremony on Saturday, May 30th at 3:00 PM in the sanctuary of FCC. Please note that the reception afterwards is by invitation only due to limited space that is available.

Julianne's upcoming bridal shower on Saturday, April 18th at 3:30 PM  in the Fellowship Hall is open to all those who wish to attend. She is registered at Bed Bath & Beyond, Belk, and Target. 
Regional Assembly 2015

The 167th Regional Assembly will be held in Raleigh at Hillyer Memorial Christian Church on Saturday, April 18th. Registration is only $30. Make plans to attend today and join us for workshops, lectures, business sessions, and worship. Download the registration form here.

The 50+ Senior Group will not meet on April 2, 2015 since it is Maundy Thursday but will meet the following week on April 9th
Camp Caroline Work-Day May 2 The Camp has small-large work needs including a chainsaw and anyone with a log splitter to help clean-up some downed trees, electrical and plumbing needs for specifically gifted folks in those areas, and if you are a drywall specialist they have a need for your help! If the weather permits they are hoping to get Ward Hall Painted and the Pool House painted, too.
Church Calendar Request If you are making changes to an already scheduled event, please send those changes to the church office at least one week before your scheduled event, or as soon as you know, so this information can be shared with the congregation in a timely manner.  
We will not know your event is happening or if it has been changed unless you let us know.  Thanks for your help.
All youth please meet at the church April 11 at 11am for a sports day with the Interfaith Guests. Lunch will be provided. Please let Heather know if you will be attending so we make sure to have enough food.
A big thank you to everyone who participated in our Palm Sunday song! You all worked so hard, and it paid off! If you would like a copy of the video emailed to you, please let Heather or Elizabeth know.
Church Yard and Plant Sale
Time to do your spring cleaning, to divide your plants, do some downsizing?  Don't know what to do with the extras?  Not to worry.  The CACS team will hold a church-wide yard sale on Saturday, April 18th from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm open to the public.  Please drop off your items starting on Monday, April 13th but not before.  (We will be hosting the Interfaith families and have no storage space before April 13th)  Most any item is welcome but please NO electronics to include NO TVs, computers, computer monitors or related computer items (printers, scanners, etc.)  We will be accepting potted plants as well.  All monies will be used to support local outreach and related church programs.  Anyone who can help during the below hours, please let Ann Boston, Ellie Duckett or Chris Furr know. We especially need help with set up on Friday and Saturday sale. Another opportunity for us to receive, give, and receive.

Large Print Hymnals Available
We now have six copies of large print hymnals available for use by the congregation.  Please feel free to pick one up in the parlor before the service. We ask that you return these hymnals to the parlor after you finish using them so others know where to find them as well.
