July 2014 Newsletter
First of all, if you're in the U.S., we hope you enjoy a safe and happy July 4th holiday weekend!
We'll take this opportunity to remind you that if you're thinking of going to ExpressionEngine Conference, you should register early. The conference takes place October 5 through October 7 in Alexandria, Virginia.
Room nights at the Crowne Plaza Old Town Alexandria start as low as $169/night. You'll want to book a room early so you can take advantage of conference rates and to be as close as you can to all the action.
The speaker lineup looks great, and the Schedule is really shaping up. If you haven't been before, this is the year to go!
The ExpressionEngine Influencers Survey
I recently put up a short survey to see who you thought the most influential people and web development shops are in the ExpressionEngine world. I received 58 responses. Thanks to everyone who took the time!
I'm working on a project that will utilize this list, but I'll also post the results once I've taken the time to parse them and tally things up.
Editor's Pick, July 2014: Google Maps for ExpressionEngine
Google Maps for ExpressionEngine by @objectivehtml is a feature-rich "complete mapping and geolocation toolkit." The next time you have an EE project that requires maps, give it a try.
