This breakfast morning event will see Jack Teeling of Teeling’s Distillery share his journey of success with the audience. Jack will examine pitfalls that the Teeling family faced along the way, key tips on what to avoid, what to embrace, and most importantly how to succeed in the food and beverage sector.
This event is open to food and beverage producers and other food stakeholders throughout Dublin.
Regardless of which food or beverage category you are in, this event offers a unique on-site food manufacturing premises experience combined with an intimate learning session with the founder.
The maximum capacity at the distillery for this event is 60 people, so we advise booking immediately.
This event is being led by LEO Dublin City and is taking place in Teeling Whiskey Distillery, Dublin 8.
Regardless of a hard or soft Customs Brexit, goods to/from the UK or transiting through the UK, will be subject to strict compliance and documentation requirements.
This workshop will cover how export and import customs procedures on trade with ‘Third Countries’ apply, how tariffs work and the need to correctly classify your goods.
There is now an urgent need to prepare your company for customs with this one-day interactive workshop. These workshops are fully funded by DBEI, through Enterprise Ireland and are delivered by Export-Edge Training, on behalf of Local Enterprise Office Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown for the Dublin Region.
Attendance is free but earliest booking is essential, as these Customs Courses have been in urgent demand and immediately booked out elsewhere.

This ‘Food Starter programme’ is a short two day programme designed to help those with a food idea, or those at a very early stage of starting up a food business (typically the first 24 months). The objective of the 2 days is to provide the participants with a base knowledge of what is involved in setting up a food business.
The content is designed to provide you with information which will allow you to avoid the pit falls normally associated with this journey. While certain aspects of the programme are relevant to those setting up cafes/restaurants, the core programme content is designed for those producing food to be sold through third parties i.e. food producers.
For those considering applying for the Food Academy Programme in the future, this programme will provide an excellent opportunity to boost your chances of securing a place.
