DLR Chamber County Business Awards

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Chamber Announces County Business Awards

Closing date for entries: 16th September 

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Chamber of Commerce, the leading business organisation in DLR County is delighted to confirm the DLR Chamber County Business Awards for 2022.

The entry procedure for the DLR County Business Award categories is now open online and is supported by DLR County Council. The closing date for entry is Friday 16th September 2022.

The Awards judging process is managed and assessed by the Board of DLR County Chamber and guest Judges. Te shortlist of Entries will be announced on 30th September 2022.

Collaborate DLR

Collaborate DLR Inaugural Event
26th October

Join us in the Pavilion Leopardstown Racecourse on 26th October for the inaugural event of our latest initiative, Collaborate DLR.

The theme for the event is the importance of investing in skills and products. Together with Enterprise Ireland, UCD and IADT we’ll introduce you to the opportunities offered by the local support system in DLR.

Through Collaborate DLR we aim to;
  • Establish a strong regional identity and community for businesses in DLR
  • Highlight to businesses the positives of investing in business training and research
  • Demonstrate how this can be supported by the network of local supports
  • Encourage companies to avail of public sector supports through awareness raising, signposting and networking

Sandyford Business District is delighted to announce their annual Innovation Summit is taking place on September 27th & 28th at the newly refurbished Pavilion in Leopardstown Racecourse.

Entrepreneurship for People with Disabilities Programme

AIB and TU Dublin Entrepreneurship for People with Disabilities Programme

Begins 21st September

A new course for people with disabilities who wish to start their own business will begin on September 21st and will take place each Wednesday from 11.00 - 13.00 for 12 weeks. AIB is kindly supporting this course, so it is free for all successful applicants.

TU Dublin will host and deliver the course through its Continuing Professional Development programme. It is open to anyone who self-identifies as having a disability and wishes to start their own business. However, the course is not suitable for someone who has already started their own business or simply wants to learn about entrepreneurship.

CCPC Survey 

Does your business use online platforms to engage with customers?

Ipsos is conducting an online survey on behalf of the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) to learn more about Platform-to-Business (P2B) relationships.
The survey is addressed to Irish businesses offering goods or services to consumers through digital platforms (e.g. online marketplaces; app stores; social media; search engines).
The survey is anonymous and takes 5-10 minutes to complete. Your contribution is most valuable.
