Local Enterprise Week - Featured Events

Pricing Guidance Workshop for Start-Ups and SME's - Monday 4th March

Pricing is often overlooked and undervalued in many businesses, both start-up and mature, leading to slim or no margins, missed sales targets and in quite a number of cases business failure. This is really not all that surprising as pricing as a topic is complicated, not intuitive and is often said to be more of an art than a science.

Kicking off Local Enterprise Week and delivered by Sagy Gulianka & Matt Johnston, this workshop will really increase attendees' knowledge of this critical area.

Social Media on Steroids - Monday 4th March

Learn how to maximise your presence online, driving engagement to brands and revenue to the bottom line.

Attendees will learn how to validate their ideas online, acquire and nurture audiences to build profitable ventures through social media. Information shared will be applicable to all levels of business from concept stage entrepreneurs to SMEs. Materials shared will build curiosity into buyer psychology online and the scalability of building a 24/7 online business model.

Delivered by Seanie Walsh a 25 year old media disruptor, social media entrepreneur and sometimes musician.

This intensive workshop is delivered by Joe Dalton and produces top sales people who know how to sell successfully and confidently.

Katapult Programme - For Start-Ups with Global Ambition

Places are filling up fast on the first Katapult programme, an inititiave of the LEO DLR. Aimed at startups and founders to help them get the basics right. It's based on the learnings of over 20 years supporting early stage companies.

Too often we see companies that have built their strategy on untested and unvalidated products or services. After going on the programme participants will have a validated product or service and will understand the fundamentals of marketing, their business model, routes to market, finances, structure and how to build their product and have completed a final pitch.

It's essential that these steps are completed early in a statup to provide the best opportunity for success and investment.
  • Programme Fee: €150
  • Held across 9 evenings (Monday Evenings: 6pm - 9pm - exact date and venue TBC)
This is an initiative of LEO DLR and the content is delivered by experts in their field.
