Ensuring Interoperability for Open Networking

Download The White Paper!

We have recently published the Open Networking Interop testing whitepaper describing the testing performed here at the lab. As support grows for greater flexibility and customizable solutions, so does the need for interoperability. The whitepaper will assist those coming up to speed by answering the following questions:

  • Will implementing Open Networking solutions from multiple providers work?
  • Are there common interfaces to monitor and control hardware?
  • Will data center designers and implementors be confident that their component choices will be interoperable?

Be sure to download your copy of the Open Networking OCP White Paper and to check out Open Networking testing services on our website.

Attend This FREE Online Seminar About IoT

Timothy Winters, Senior Executive of Software and IP Networking, at the IOL will be hosting the Light Reading Upskill U online seminar titled IoT: Evolving Networks to Meet the Opportunity. This will be held on May 11th at 1pm EST and will examine how operators’ networks will need to evolve in order to address this diverse IoT opportunity, realizing that the solutions that need to be delivered will draw on all parts of the network but will require complex interactions not previously anticipated.   Test Tools and Solutions

Ethernet Copper Auto-Negotiation

The Auto-Negotiation test tools are a combination of our custom Python Board Hardware and Labview based software. This Python board translates received signaling into logic values and transmits the information to Digital Input Output (DIO) cards installed in the testing stations which record timestamps to send to our software. Contact us today to learn more.

MIPI Boards and Testing Tools

In order to support our MIPI test services, we have designed and created test fixtures to aid in performing M-PHY, C-PHY, D-PHY, DSI, and CSI-2 testing. These test fixtures can be purchased individually or as a kit. Use the MIPI Test Fixture Order Form to order these fixtures or email ustoday.

  STEM Engagement

Girls Who Code Blog

Throughout the year our STEM Task Force engages with the K-12 community, providing hands on activities at the IOL or at schools and community events. This year we received a generous grant from The Verizon Foundation enabling us to provide more outreach opportunities to young women interested in innovation and technology. Since January we have participated in 5 events targeted specifically for middle and high school girls, allowing us to inspire hundreds of female students for an education and career in technology.
