Beta Participates in IEEE Design Standards Meetings
Ross Twidwell, Beta’s VP of Civil Engineering, recently participated in two IEEE subcommittee meetings for design guide standards. Hosted by the Bonneville Power Administration, the IEEE 693 and IEEE 1527 subcommittees met in Portland, Oregon in early June. Read more

Continued Company Growth
Over the past few years, Beta has continued to hire staff to meet increased workload demands, steadily adding staff across all functions of the company. Recently, Beta Engineering expanded into a new building at its headquarters in Louisiana to accommodate both recent and anticipated growth. Read more

Beta is continuing the engineering and construction of the Grandview GIS project in California. A 1930s-era substation in Glendale has been demolished and the facility is being prepared for construction of a new 69/12kV GIS substation. The renovation includes enclosing all of the electrical equipment inside a historically appropriate building and boosting the operating voltage level to accommodate anticipated growth in the area.
