Tomorrow: Fermentorium Barrel House (Wauwatosa)

Tomorrow (Wed), we’ll be taking a trip to the Fermentorium Barrel House in Tosa. The Barrel House is an extension of Fermentorium’s Brewery & Taproom located in Cedarburg. Known for its flagship beer, Juice Packets IPA, the brewery boasts a 20 barrel system that runs around the clock. With new beers released (almost) every Thursday, both locations keep an ever-evolving lineup of classic and uniquely styled beers. We will taste a wide variety of what they have to offer – including their newest release, Sweater Weather Imperial Milk Stout.

Recap: Thanksgiving Bottle Share

We appreciate everyone who joined us last Wednesday to share some special beers with the group! Aside from the annual Thanksgiving bottle share, we’ll be mixing in a few bottle shares every few months throughout the year.

Next Week: Trip to Enlightened Brewing Company

On Wed, Dec 11th, we’ll be visiting Enlightened Brewing Company in Bay View. Enlightened moved to this location in May, complete with a new taproom, expanded production, and a canning line. Check our website in the coming week for the final beer list and other details.

Beer News & Events

Milwaukee Brewing Company will have 2 special releases coming up this week.

On Friday, they’ll be releasing Blaze’s Fruitcake Dubbel as part of their Brewer’s Day Off series. This beer will only be available on tap at MKE’s 9th Street location and MKE Ale House. For every Brewer’s Day Off pint, growler, or crowler sold, MKE will be donating $1 to a local non-profit.

And on Saturday, MKE will have their 2019 release of Louie’s Cherry Bounce. This beer starts with their Louie’s Resurrection recipe, which is then aged another 2 months in brandy barrels with Door County tart cherries.

Eagle Park continues to churn out some delicious beers with 3 more beers available this Saturday, including:

DDH Goon Juice
- A double dry hopped version of our hazy IPA with Citra, Mosaic, Eureka, and Columbus hops. 8%

Snowball
- Milk stout brewed with cacao and toasted coconut. 7.5%

Tiki Dave's: Blue Hawaiian (Draft & Crowlers Only)
- Sour ale with pineapple, orange, toasted coconut, and blue spirulina. (8%)
