                                                                                                "Three Crows"
This is my latest piece. I painted and quilted the left eye as a demonstration in my 5-day Dye-painting/Quilting class in NY in the spring. Then when I got home, I added the border and quilted the rest of the face and added the crows. For the full story of "Three Crows", click here.

I'm gearing up for the  the International Quilt Festival in Houston, TX October 24 to 26, 2015. "Golden Girl" and "Girls are Strong" will be in the judged show and I will be teaching 5 workshops.

I was so saddened to hear that President Jimmy Carter has cancer. About 10 years ago I made a special piece dedicated to him because I have always admired this beautiful man.

"Jimmy Carter - Ambassador of Peace" was recently exhibited in the "Southern Accents" show at the Ruth Funk Center for Textile Arts in Melbourne, Florida.

The International Quilt Festival in Houston, TX is the largest annual quilt show in the world. I will be teaching 5 workshops during that week.
