May 17th was the last Student Ambassador meeting of the school year. It was fun to watch them bond, hear their plans for the future, and make life-long memories! We want to thank these amazing students who have given so much to the district this year. 2022-2023 applications close today at midnight!
The EPS Foundation Student Ambassador program provides students with a myriad of leadership and community service opportunities. Some of these opportunities I have personally participated in include being a featured speaker at the Celebration of Excellence, the Hall of Fame, and the National Education Foundations Association national conference. In addition, the student ambassadors serve the community by stocking local schools' food pantries, volunteering at the EPS Administrative building in the summer, collecting goodie bag items for educators and so much more! All of these experiences have enabled the student ambassadors to gain a greater awareness of the district's needs and how they can make an impact right here in their own schools. This program allows students to step outside of their comfort zone and cultivate their leadership skills, which can be utilized for the rest of their lives.
