Presenter Charles Griffith, M.S., developed the Master Forager Course over the past ten years and has taught it many times at universities, colleges, campsites, and nature centers around Arkansas and Oklahoma. Now, he's bringing his foraging class to the library on Monday, September 16th at 2 p.m.
Come learn about wild the wild, edible plants that are all around us.

115 years have passed since Oaklawn first opened in 1905. With 2020 on the horizon and progress with new construction evident daily, the park’s future is bound to be full of changes. Many residents are curious about all of the updates taking place and what it means for Hot Springs. Vice President of Racing, Jed Doro, will come to the library on Thursday, September 5th at 6:00 p.m. for a presentation about the history of Oaklawn. Following the talk, Doro will participate in a question and answer session.
This program is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
