Virtual Talk with Dr. Jose Romero | September 1st | 6 PM |

Join us on the Garland County Library's Facebook page for a discussion on Facebook Live with Dr. Jose Romero, Secretary of Health, Arkansas Department of Health about the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Please prepare your questions for Dr. Romero so that you can ask them once the Facebook feed goes live. The library's Adult Programmer, Paul Kagebein, will ask as many of your questions as time allows. Questions can pertain to the COVID-19 virus, as well as its impact on Hot Springs, Garland County, and Arkansas in general.
Rising to the Occasion with Breads | September 2nd | 6 PM |

Alison Crane from the Garland County Extension Office will join the Garland County Library on Facebook Live with a special presentation on basic bread making. She will demonstrate how to make garlic herb bread while answering questions about the process.

Join artist Jojo Liu in this beginner’s Chinese calligraphy class, from the comfort of your own home. Jojo will be teaching traditional Chinese calligraphy basics including how to hold a brush, write basic strokes, and write while standing. To participate, attendees must have a few supplies at home: a calligraphy brush, a bottle of black ink, and practice paper.
