State of the Active Chapter

Gamma Upsilon Alumni,

 On behalf of the active brothers in the Gamma Upsilon Chapter of the Sigma Nu Fraternity I am pleased to share this newsletter with you. I invite you to take a look into our chapter operations and what we have achieved at the University of Arkansas and surrounding communities in recent times.

Our chapter continues to grow without compromising the quality of men. The Gamma Upsilon chapter prides itself on recruiting men of the highest quality and further developing those men through continuous education. As demonstrated in this newsletter our brotherhood has made tremendous strides academically and philanthropically. 

We continue to strive for excellence in all chapter endeavors while preserving tradition and building off the past successes of the generations before us. Our alumni involvement is crucial to our chapter’s success. I thank you for your past support and I ask for your perpetuated support to the Gamma Upsilon chapter and the general fraternity.

State of the Alumni

Introducing a new Alumni dues collection process

The Alumni Board is currently working towards implementation of a new process of collecting Alumni Dues, donations to scholarship and general funds that will directly impact the overall experience of the active chapter. In years past we have paid fees for the newsletter to be created and managed, we are in the process of updating the website in an effort to no longer be sharing any of your donations with any outside organizations. 

The new dues schedule will start with the upcoming school year meaning that everyone's dues will be due again in August. We are also introducing new levels of membership, including a silver level, gold level and a platinum level membership. The silver level will be the traditional dues of $50, the gold level is $100, and the platinum level is $500. Donations made on the platinum level will be recognized in the fall newsletter.
