MCC's MOPS group is hosting a Fall Family Fire Safety Fiesta October 13th from 2:00pm-5:00pm at MCC! Participants can meet a fire fighter, identify common household fire hazards, listen to stories of inspirational fire fighters in our community, explore fire ecology and participate in fire safety simulations. There will be food, fun, free take home stuff, costumes, an EPIC box car race, obstacle course and possibly an appearance from Mr. Smokey the Bear himself!!! Donations and proceeds from this event will go toward the MOPS ministry.
The Food for the Hungry Bolivia Mission Trip is set for March 17-26, 2019. If you want to be part of the team, contact Jen Ward by October 7th to save your spot!
The MCC Safety Team is conducting its semi-annual assessment. If you have suggestions to improve the safety of our congregation, please address them to “Safety Team” and place in the sanctuary box. Additionally, you’ll notice the new crash bar and safety lock on the downstairs Fellowship Hall door. For the safety of our nursery, children, and staff, the Safety Team will begin locking the downstairs door during service hours and asking people to enter through the Sanctuary door at those times. The door will be unlocked for Fellowship. If you have questions, please talk with Dave Kenney.
Scott Walker invites you to pray with him every weekday morning at 6:00 a.m. Please come and join him in the Fellowship Hall to hold up MCC and the ministries in constant, consistent prayer.
MCC's Wood Ministry is hosting a Wood Sponsorship Training October 20th from 9:00 a.m. -11:30 a.m.
We will highlight what it means to be a sponsor and how sponsorship changes lives. Please contact Don and Ann Moore to let them know you will be attending! Snacks will be provided.
Shine is changing the way we help our teachers with supplies at A. Montoya! Instead of doing a supply drive, we’ve created a wish list which we have posted on the Shine bulletin board downstairs in the Fellowship Hall. Take a tag if you want to purchase an item. Give your purchase to Ashley or Marcy who will deliver them to teachers! Please check the board periodically and give as you feel led!
The One to One Soul Care Conference will be held at MCC November 9-10. Are you interested in biblical counseling? Do you feel you want some training on how to walk with a brother or sister in their dark seasons? Please join us! Click here to register for the conference or contact Elizabeth for more information.
