Faith, Friends & Fellowship
By Jodi Kenney
"Why attend a church picnic just hours after going to church? Aren’t these the same people you just shared a pew, and maybe coffee, with in a different setting? Didn’t you already fellowship before and after service with these people? Or maybe you said a brief hello and shook hands during the welcome? That all may be true but..." What's Happening at MCC

Join us for MCC’s “End of Summer Picnic!”

  • This Sunday from 1-5pm at  Embudo Hills Park in Albuquerque.
  • Bring your family, food & drinks, chairs/blanket and lawn games!
  • Water bottles and dessert provided.

Parents of Fire & Ice Youth Group members are invited to a “Parent Meeting” on September 26th from 6-8 p.m. in the Youth Hall. It will be a fun filled evening with ice-breakers, games, dinner and separate discussion groups for parents and students. Childcare will be available for all age groups. Contact Joy Roybal for more information.
We are looking for a leader for our Prayer Chain Ministry. If you are interested, please contact the office. Thank you! Contact Yolette Roybal for more information.

Sisters in Stitches is planning a workshop for young ladies who would like to practice their sewing skills and make their own apron! The workshop is Wednesday, OCTOBER 10, 2018 from 12 - 4 in the MCC Fellowship Hall. It's not essential that the girls have their own sewing machine, but a limited number of loaners are available, so please let us know if you will need to use one. SIS will provide pre-cut fabric kits.  Please RSVP to Davra Clayton by this Friday, September 28th.

We are looking for a Lead Tech. This person would be responsible for recruiting and training volunteers, maintaining equipment, and working with the musicians. In some seasons, this could take more time than others, and we are considering making this a paid part-time position. Contact Elizabeth for more information.

Meet Steve Brown!

Steve Brown is the our brother who comes weekly to change the letters on our outdoor sign!  He is faithful and diligent. You may know him from the Saturday Morning Men's Group or worship with him first service. Steve is also an avid bike rider! You may see him on the trails. We are so grateful for Steve!

God has blessed MCC with brothers and sisters who love Him, reflect Him, and serve Him. Each week our "Meet MCC" category of the (L)ink highlights one person, picked randomly; who either attends, volunteers or works for the church. Check back weekly to learn about the amazing people who make up MCC!
