FAS’ ever-growing Impact Fellowship program is still recruiting its next cohort, but deadlines are approaching fast. As a reminder – the Impact Fellowship program is a selective program that supports the development and placement of emerging scientific and technical talent within high-impact roles across the federal government. Impact Fellows are serving across a variety of federal agencies in roles that augment existing government teams as they confront some of the greatest scientific and social challenges of our time. Chief Finance Officer, to oversee FAS’ finance, human resources and organizational operations functions as it scales its impact, increasing annual revenue.

Director of Policy Fellowship Programs, to lead cross-organization efforts to connect science and technology professionals to opportunities to serve throughout government and public policy nonprofits.

Associate Director, Science Policy, reporting to the Director, Science Policy, the Associate Director will provide project management expertise, as well as an understanding of policies ranging from evidence-based policy to environmental justice.

Communications Manager, Media Relations, to execute both proactive planning and implementation of a comprehensive communications strategy as well as reactive, rapid daily interaction on issues related to FAS.
