Dear Friends,

What an incredible first Eucharist and dinner on the 15th!  It was a beautiful image seeing over 60 folks of so many different ages, stages, and backgrounds gathering to worship around God's table. My favorite moment was entering the undercroft in song, only to discover that we had more people than chairs!  In some ways, the Church's liturgy aims to enact and teach the lessons we hope to learn, and it was cool to watch our fledgling community literally negotiating how to make space at the table!  I am deeply grateful for everyone who made it happen, but I will refrain from listing them here for I would surely forget someone!  Nevertheless, know that you are each appreciated.

Our next service is this Monday (September 29)!  Again, we'll gather outside Trinity at the Chapel St. entrance at 6, and the service with dinner will start at 6:11.  Anyone who wants to help with food or music is welcome to come beginning at 5:15

Leadership Table -
I am currently forming a "leadership table" which will be a smaller group of folks who meet in person once monthly to keep a pulse on the community and guide our decisions about worship and development.  If this sounds like something you might be called to do, please prayerfully consider it and let me know.

Call for Volunteers - We need some help with the meals - both picking up food and preparing it!!! Please contact Sarah Woodford (sarah.woodford@yale.edu) or Gloria Hoda (gloria.hoda@yale.edu) if you would like to help out.
