Friday, 6/17  Three Ring Circus Fundraiser  6 - 10 PM
@ The Resource Exchange, 1701 N 2nd St.
Join for an evening of fun and festivities at The Resource Exchange! All funds raised help to continue our mission of promoting creative reuse, recycling, and resource conservation in Philadelphia. Included: live musical performances by West Philadelphia Orchestra, DJs, Acrobatic and theatrical performances, an outdoor movie screening of Charlie Chaplin’s “The Circus”, raffles, games, local food trucks.

Philly Children's March is pleased to present the debut performance of a two-part series born from the voices of Philly youth who participated in the #Penning4Justice workshop with Ursula Rucker. The raw and spoken voices of youth were gathered and have been transformed into a collaborative piece! Learn more.

Sunday, 6/19  Juneteenth
Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States. Dating back to 1865, it was on June 19th that the Union soldiers, led by Major General Gordon Granger, landed at Galveston, Texas with news that the war had ended and that the enslaved were now free.

Tuesday, 6/21  POP Mulberry Picking
Join the POPHarvest Community Harvesting Program in celebrating the start of summer by picking mulberries on beautiful Bartram's Garden land. Bring your own containers for harvesting, wear clothes that you don't mind potentially getting stained, and please prepare to donate part of your harvest for ongoing food pantry and local food business partnerships! Farm to Families: Affordable CSA Boxes!

Join on Thursdays 4 - 7 PM for the weekly pickup of Farm to Families Produce Boxes @ the NKCDC Garden Center at Frankford and Berks. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring fresh, local, and affordable foods into your kitchen. Learn how to sign up in advance and how it all works on the NKCDC website! We gather for workdays at this community garden every Sunday 10 AM - Noon and Tuesdays 7 PM - Dusk, weather permitting. This garden is a gem accessible to all members of the community - take a look at ongoing projects online.

Mondays  Emerald Street Community Farm  4 - 8 PM
@ the corner of Emerald St and Dauphin St
Come lend a hand for workdays at this delightful urban farm (around the corner from the Porch!), make some new friends, and take home some veggies once they're ready! Check 'em out on Facebook!
