There are lots of funding opportunities available, but be quick, closing dates are looming!

The Fundraising Regulator has taken key steps towards helping members of the public take control over how they are approached with fundraising requests, with new proposals for the operation of a Fundraising Preference Service.

City Health Care Partnership Foundation – Small Grants Programme
 

The next deadline for the City Health Care Partnership Foundations small grants programme is the 1st October 2016.

The programme provides an opportunity for local voluntary, community and other not for profit organisations with an annual income of less than £30,000 to apply for grants or donations of up to £1,000. Projects should contribute towards the health and wellbeing of people.

DM Thomas Foundation for Young People



Avaiable to registered Charities that are working in the areas of education or health with one of the Foundation’s four chosen focus groups. These are:
  • Children and young people with disabilities;
  • Children and young people who are sick in hospital;
  • Employability and training programmes for disadvantaged young people;
  • Children and young people who are life limited (requiring palliative care).
The closing date for applications is 11th October 2016. Additional information can be found here.
 

 

Greggs Foundation – Local Communities Projects Fund 

 

The next application deadline for the Greggs Foundation Local Community Projects Fund is the 30th September 2016.

The Local Community Projects Fund makes grants of up to £2,000 to not for profit organisations, with a turnover of less than £300,000 a year, who work to reduce the disadvantage of the most deprived people in the community such as the disabled, those living in poverty, voluntary carers and isolated older people.
