Visiting on Deer Isle and want to take home a taste of Maine?  We are proud to announce that the Burnt Cove Market, one of three businesses owned by the Island Employee Cooperative is now the official retailer of our products.
We are harvesting every day now at Rabbit Hill, and Cheryl is busy in the kitchen! Stop by the Burnt Cove Market today and support both the island community and Maine agriculture!
Ready for a wine tasting?  Saturday, September 15 is Maine Open Winery Day. The Deer Isle Cider Company, located at Rabbit Hill Farm, will be pressing fresh apples in the morning.  Sampling encouraged! 
In the afternoon, Flip will share the art and science of sparkling cider production with samples from different vintages. Join us!

And finally, as an ode to one of Cheryl's foodie heroes, the ambassador of French cuisine, Chef Paul Bocuse,  she'll be cooking up a five course "farm-fish-forage" meal on Friday, September 14.  Make it a week-end and enjoy best part of summer here on Deer Isle.
