Just under two weeks to go until National Carers Week!

As promised, here is your weekly update of the latest events taking place.

Please note the addition of the week-long South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust events. We also are pleased to share that Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust will be hosting several events including Carers Awareness Training, a Carers Survey for their staff, as well as ensuring Carers, including their staff who are Carers, know about the support available to them both within the Trust as well as through their local Carers organisations.

We are still looking for Carers to share their stories!

All events are free and will take place virtually, unless specified otherwise.
(a few events are in person, with strict infection-control measures in place)

For all Carers Week matters, please email Chiara at:
or call: 020 8296 5611.

Please keep an eye on our Twitter
, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram (soon-to-be launched) and website to keep up-to-date with the latest on Carers Week.

Given everything that we have been going through this year, it is more important than ever to ensure that Carers are visible and valued. We look forward to connecting with you across this important week.
Would you like to tell your story?

We are currently looking for families who would be willing to share their story to help others understand what caring is really like. During Carers Week, we often get requests from media outlets, often at short notice, both local and national. If you would like to be interviewed for a paper, magazine or television, to help make caring more visible and valued, then please contact us. Although we cannot always predict how the public will react, many families find speaking to the media highly rewarding.

Contact Sutton Carers Centre on 020 8296 5611, 10am - 5pm Monday to Friday, until 8pm on Tuesday evenings, and 11am - 1pm on the second Saturday of each month, or email us on, or for issues regarding this newsletter,
Best wishes,
