We hope that you will be able to settle in with a tea or coffee to join us online. There also will be a 10 minute comfort/refreshment break part way through the meeting, plus an opportunity to buy some raffle tickets for Sutton Carers Centre's Summer Draw, before Mandy Dennelly pulls the winning ticket for the FREE Carers Forum draw (for an amazing hamper full of donated prizes).
Please find attached the full Agenda for this meeting, along with the Draft Minutes and Brian Dear's Safeguarding Report from the last Sutton Carers Forum, held on Tuesday 23rd March 2021; we have also included the Caring Matters national updates from Carers Trust, for May 2021.
- The first section of our Sutton Carers Forum will focus particularly on the THEMES that emerged from the Dementia Action Week Forum and what ACTION we want to take collectively, to reduce the inequalities for people living with dementia and their family and friend Carers.
- The second main section will open with Cllr. Ruth Dombey (Leader of Sutton Council) making Sutton's pledge to 'Make Carers Visible and Valued'. Following Cllr Dombey, we will open the virtual floor to further pledges from Sutton Leaders and Supporters.
For people unable to make the Forum, please forward your pledges to Vicky (details below) or Chiara at firstname.lastname@example.org and they will be read on your behalf.
Please come along and make your pledge:
'Making Caring Visible and Valued' in Sutton 2021.
We will have the 'chat' function available, too, so you can post any questions you wish to ask the speakers, for during or after the meeting.
