Hot off the heels of our COVID-19 vaccination, PPE and mental health support bulletin earlier this week, we would like to share with you two main items.

Firstly, we have an urgent update on the Carer COVID-19 vaccination process. Some Carers are reporting that despite booking their slot on the National Booking Service - often on the encouragement of their GP - and after completing the eligibility questions - they are still being questioned about eligibility when they arrive at the mass vaccination sites.

If you are eligible, and would like SCC to provide you with a letter to take with you, please email us on or give us a ring on 020 8296 5611.

We also are speaking with our helpful health colleagues to make the process a bit more stream-lined for Carers.

We also welcome your feedback, so please let us know about your experiences - be they good or not-so-good. Thank you to all who have shared with us so far, which helps us to help other Carers.

Sutton Carers Centre Virtual Support Groups

Secondly, please find below the latest free, specialist virtual support groups running at SCC for Adult and Young Carers. Please see below, and if you have any other helpful ideas for groups you would like us to set up, please do not hesitate to get in touch. Hope to see you joining us on Zoom soon - and please don't forget that you can dial in, too!

For more information, please visit our website: where you also will find our contact and referral forms for Carers and professional colleagues.
We have
a dedicated COVID-19 section, as well.

As always, you also can
