Bringing Beautiful Music to Audiences Everywhere
Dear Coro members and choir friends,

It seems a while since our newsletter and we have had the summer holiday period in between.  That doesn't mean things have stood still at Coro Nuovo and we have been working on a number of exciting things, particularly the 2016/17 programme and the new Cro Nuovo website - see the further details in the newsletter below.

There are a couple of other new things in the planning.  Coro Nuovo Vice Chair Susan Fleet is working on a fundraising event - a tea party with entertainment - on Sunday 22nd January 2017 at 2.30pm.  It's an excellent opportunity to showcase your talents and/or bring your family and friends to support Coro Nuovo.  If you would like further details please contact Susan by email at

Coro Nuovo have been asked to perform at a St David's concert for Wales in London and under Andy Rees' direction we shall start rehearsing (learning?) our Welsh in February 2017.

I have also been out of action for a few weeks due to a gallbladder operation but everything went well and I'm on the mend and looking forward to being able to sing with the choir at the next opportunity.  On behalf of the choir I would like to send best wishes to a couple of our committee members - Susannah Hodgson and Vivienne Carlton - who are also recovering from recent operations.

With warm regards,

Kate Kent
Chair of Coro Nuovo
