Tip of the month:
One of the most useful tools that everyone has at their disposal is a mirror. If you are looking for the one person to whom you should look for help to get out of a tight spot, you can often find them right there, looking back at you in the mirror. Likewise, if you are looking for the one person over whom you have the most influence, there they are.
Searching for the person who will most likely help you figure out what is most important, and what you should be spending your time and effort on? Same place, same person.
Most of the answers that we seek are already within us. Sometimes we just need a bit of help from someone to access the wealth of knowledge and talents we have inside, to help us move forward in the most constructive way.
What's new:
I will soon be spending a week in Ottawa at the Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution (CICR) for the second of 4 courses that comprise their Third Party Neutral (TPN) certification.
New Quick Start Guide coming: Last year I wrote a couple of "white papers", which I prefer to call Quick Start Guides on the topics of bringing your kids into your business (My Kids In My Business) and members of the senior generation who are not ready to leave (Sticky Baton Syndrome, ask Prince Charles). My next one will be about Family Alignment. The working title is: Family Alignment: What it is, Why you need it, How to build it. Available July 1 (Fingers crossed)
