Tip of the month:

As we get closer to the end of the year and the hope of having some family get-togethers that may have been sabotaged over the past many months, this could be a good time to start some new family traditions.
If that can include leaving more of the decisions, planning, and work to those younger family members than has been the case in the past, that's probably a good thing!

What's New:

1. In less than two weeks I will be MC'ing this ceremony for the first ever Family Enterprise of the Year Award for Quebec for Family Enterprise Canada. As a member of the jury, I can tell you that we had three fantastic finalists, who will all be present. But I cannot tell you who won, because I've been sworn to secrecy!

2. I'm always happy to have more outlets that publish my work, and here is the second piece that I wrote for this great new resource for our field in Canada: Don’t forget the family at the family office
