BBA students granted HK$150,000 for an award-winning business plan
Four BBA students captured 1st runner-up and the Best Social Mission Award at Hong Kong Social Enterprise Challenge 2014, organized by the Center for Entrepreneurship of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, on 7 March 2015. 

The team, named 同路行@ccompany, was formed by 5 HKBU students: Mr. Cheung Tsz Yiu, John (Finance, graduate 2015), Ms. Chung Cheuk Ching, Cherries (Information Systems and e-Business Management, Year 3), Ms. Chung Ka Hei, Sarah (Human Resources Management, Year 3),  Ngan Chiu Ming (Information Systems and e-Business Management, Year 3) and a student from Government and International Studies. 

The team proposed a mobile app which provides information of barrier-free restaurants in Hong Kong. “We hope to bring changes and benefits to the disabled through information technology,” John said. The team was also granted HK$150,000 to implement the winning plan.
Inauguration Ceremony of the MBA (China) Alumni Association Zhuhai Branch
The event was held on 28 Mar 2015 at the United International College in Zhuhai. The newly elected President of Zhuhai alumni branch, Ms. Wu Suping, introduced the set up of the Sports Club, the Reading Group and the Entrepreneur Club to cater for the needs of the alumni.
Case Workshop on the use of case method in classroom and in research
The Chinese Business Case Centre of the School of Business hosted the 2015 Case Workshop on 14-15 April 2015, aiming at deepening understanding of case method in teaching and research, and its effective use amongst School’s faculty and research postgraduates. 
Field Study to Seoul
Final-year students of BCom (Marketing) programme joined a field study to Seoul in late Jan. They visited Chung-Ang University, COEX, Dongdaemun Design Plaza, Samsung D’light and Bukchon Hanok Village to gain in-depth understanding of Korea's latest trends in business, cultural, economic, social and technological environments.
Dr. Jacinto Tong discusses the possible bursting of the bubble of low-priced properties
On 14 April 2015, Alumnus Dr. Jacinto Tong, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Gale Well Group Ltd., talked about his news-hitting prediction of the bursting of the bubble of the low-priced residential property. 
BBA student wins Speak Up! final contest
The final contest of Speak Up! was successfully held on 1 Apr 2015. BBA final-year student Karlon Yuen stood out among his peers in the Entertain Category. The Advocate Category was won by Jack Yip from English & Education.

Alumna Ms. May Chan, General Manager of Spark Image Consultancy Company, shared with participants at the MSc in Strategic HRM programme Alumni Sharing Seminar the tips of building professional personal image on 27 Mar 2015.

BCom (Marketing) programme held a kick-off ceremony for Young Marketer for Social Enterprise (YMSE) scheme on the Shek Mun Campus in Feb. Over 15 social enterprises have engaged in the Scheme this year.
