I haven't done this in 3 months. Time to empty my brain.

New Year, Same Nonsense

We are approaching 2 full years living in a covid world. A lot has changed, yet, we all managed to pivot and make it all work. One thing we have found is, now that most of us can't go anywhere, we have plenty of time AND money on our hands.
Here is what I spent my time and money on last year:

The 3 Most Important Books I Read in 2021
The Best Things I Spent Money on in 2021

Interest and Inflation Ratezzz...

Sorry, I dozed off there a little. I know this is not the most exciting topic but it's all over the news these days. I went to school for economics and understand what's happening. There are a few things you can do now that might save you a lot in the future:

1. Continue (or start!) to pay down debt while it's still cheap

B. Refinance your mortgage if you haven't already - We have recently expanded our network of mortgage brokers so, if there is a better deal out there, we should be able to get it.

If you need something done, have a concern, or something is worrying you financially, call the office or email me at If you want to book a meeting, please use our online calendar.

Whatcha Reading?

Will. As in Smith. His highly anticipated autobiography came out during the summer and, wouldn't you know it? Santa brought me a copy. It has become a thing now that when I get a book, I also get the audio version, and verse visa. Of course, he reads it to me, and of course, he goes off script, raps, and emotes, and plays clips from shows and movies. I'm halfway through and I already know this will likely be a best of 2022.

Whatcha Watching?

Yellowstone. Oh man, the weekly adventures of the Duttons keep us on the edge of our seats! We binged the first few seasons during the summer there-isn't-anything-to-watch phase....but then watched the last season live, while it happened. #stillnotsquidgame
