The Roundup

Every year I like to take a look back at the last 12 months and remind myself of all the things I accomplished. This year was a little different. Covid had us all stuck at home, trying to manage work life, home life, kids doing online school, and thousands of hours of Netflix to catch up on.

One thing we did this year was we increased the number of articles we wrote. Here is a list of some of our favourites:

3 Strategies That Are NOT Financial Plans - 3 of the most interesting "financial plans" clients have told me about.
The Best Things I Spent Money on in 2020 - A list of the best things I traded money for to improve quality of life.
What Doing my Own Renos Taught Me - I recently did a major renovation. Some by myself and some I hired out.  I learned a lot about letting the pros do their job while I do mine.

Stay Connected

We understand that just because you may be stuck at home, doesn't mean that you are not busy. Contact with the outside world is still important and we'd like to be one of those contacts. If you need something done, have a concern, or something is worrying you financially, call the office or email me at If you want to book a meeting, please use my online calendar. And please, follow me on Facebook and Linked In for my random musings during all of this.

Whatcha Reading?

So as you know, we don't really have anywhere to go.  In the car is where I normally listen to my audiobooks so needless to say, I have been on the same book for 2 months. Instead, let me tell you what we've been listening to around the house: Showtunes! I love a good musical and Amazon and Spotify have great playlists filled with the best songs from the best shows. Keep track of my readings list here

Whatcha Watching?

We've basically run out of things to watch. Any suggestions?
