I haven't done this in 3 months. Time to empty my brain.

The More Things Change...

Late last year, we made some changes to the team in order to "maximize efficiencies". We are down one member and are expecting a new member of the team to join us in February. So, in the meantime, we may be a little slow getting back to you. We still strive for "total client satisfaction" but please bare with us as we go through these growing pains. If you need something done, give me a call at 519-675-1177 or email me at If you want to book a meeting, please use my new online calendar or email Stay tuned for an outline of the new roster!

2019 Meeting Stats

Each month I like to post a quick snapshot of my monthly meeting stats and outline all the people I've helped, fees I've saved and, what I call, Ah-ha moments. Those are the times during a planning meeting that a client just...gets it. This past year I:
  • Protected 19 families from a sudden loss of income with insurance of over $10,000,000
  • Saved my clients over $500,000 in unnecessary fees
  • Helped 9 clients retire and helped one retire 4 years ahead of schedule (his wife didn't like that)
  • Helped produce over $80,000 in tax refunds with proper planning
If you want to get in on the action, give us a call and set up a meeting. I'd love to add your stats to next month's post.

Open for Business

I love working with my clients and helping them worry less about their financial lives. What I also like is when a client tells someone they know about how we've helped them. I just want to let you all know that I am never too busy to see your friends, family or colleagues. I have developed a list of life events that, if they occur, you should probably talk to an advisor. Spend 60 seconds looking it over and if you can answer YES to any of these questions, for you or for someone you know, let me know. I'm here to help.

Simply check your schedule, then check mine and if they are both free, we'll meet. Check out my schedule here and book a time to meet (updated hourly)

Whatcha Reading?

With my recent loss of a team member, my life is all over the place. I'm having to work longer hours and a lot of them are unproductive. I came across a Canadian productivity expert name Chris Bailey. I watched some of his TED Talks and listened to a few podcasts. After that, I knew I needed help being more productive. His two books The Productivity Project and Hyper Focus on repeat for the next month or so.  Keep track of my readings at home here

Whatcha Watching?

I have a busy job, 4 kids in hockey, just finished one renovation and am starting another, am on the Board of Directors for the kid's hockey league and I think I have friends still. I have had ZERO time to watch much these days. Check back with me next quarter.
