ESP Update 2016/01

Dear ESP members and friends,

Happy New Year from the Ecosystem Services Partnership! It promises to be another busy year with many Regional Conferences which we hope many of you will attend.

1. ESP Regional Conferences


ESP will organise several regional conferences in 2016. Four of them are firmly planned:  The Latin American and Oceania Chapters are also planning conferences but no date has been set yet. Click here for further information on all regional conferences. Please mark these dates and forward this information in your own Network(s)!
 
NOTE: Deadline for submission of session-proposals for the Asia and European Conferences is February 15!

You can follow the Regional Conferences on Twitter -  for the Asian Conference and for the European Conference.

2. ESP8 World Conference, November 2015


The survey has now been closed and 78 participants (21%) responded. The ‘unfiltered’ results can be accessed on this webpage. We will make a summary with main ‘lessons learned’ which will be made available through the ESP8 Conference website in February.

3. ESP Regional Chapter activities


New ESP National Networks are being established: ESP China, ESP Brazil and ESP Bulgaria. The Lead Teams of those National Networks are now in the process of defining their introduction and objectives and making a work plan. More information will follow on their pages soon. 

4. Other News

Finally a big thank you to all of you who filled out the pre-ESP8 survey in October. The results will be communicated and put online soon.
