ESP Update 2015/04

Dear ESP members and friends,

Hereby we provide you with the monthly Update for ESP members and friends about the latest developments and activities within the Ecosystem Services Partnership network. 
 

 

The review of the more than 50 workshop proposals has been completed. The descriptions of the accepted workshops can be viewed on the workshop overview page. Please note that this is overview is still subject to change. Completed workshop descriptions will be added onto the conference website as they come in. 
 

The possibility to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations will open the 8th of May. For the preparation of your abstract submission, we advise you to have a look at the workshop overview webpage. To submit an abstract we ask you to select three workshops that best suit the theme of your abstract. When a workshop states 'CLOSED' it means no voluntary contributions can be uploaded to that workshop. 
 

Registration for the conference is opened now.
Early Bird registration ends the 31st of August.

We would appreciate it very much if you could distribute the ESP Conference flyer widely in your network(s). The flyer can be downloaded here.

 

Last month a questionnaire was sent to all ESP members about their involvement in IPBES. More than 50 people responded, of which 63% indicated that they have an official role or have participated in IPBES meetings or deliverables. ESP will be using this information to investigate how to further strengthen ties with IPBES and involve ESP members more. More news to follow soon and if you have ideas on how to do this, or other IPBES related messages, please send them to info@es-partnership.org.
