Upcoming Worship:

Multi-Faith Mission Trip (A WCC “First”!):

On January 22, 2018, Winnetka Congregational Church will embark with faith partners from Congregation Hakafa and Morton Grove Muslim Community Center for a multi-faith mission trip to help Houston rebuild. A “first” for all three faith communities!
We invite you to listen to (and please share!) an interview with trip participants that aired this week on Radio Islam. The interview helps to spread the inspiring news of this multi-faith endeavor and conveys the palpable goodwill it is generating. The on-air discussion voices both our shared hopes for this trip… and the continued bridge-building we pray it will lead to!

Allow a few seconds for the audio to start playing.
Adult Enrichment
January and February
Last year may have marked the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation, but we have just begun to explore its meaning and the ways in which it affects us even in the year 2018. How has it made Christianity more diverse, and how has it affected other religions? And what are the patterns of religious evolution in the 21st century? Join us for rich, informative programs and discussions -- newcomers welcome!

Join Go Green Winnetka for a screening of From The Ashes on Wednesday, January 31 at 7 P.M. in the Centennial Room at the Winnetka Congregational Church.
From the Ashes is a documentary that underscores the coal industry, one of the most dominant and controversial industries in the history of the United States. The film explores the reality of coal's role in climate change while offering insight into solutions that could help revive the struggling economies of dying mining towns and still safeguard the environment. From Appalachia to the West's Powder River Basin, the film goes beyond the rhetoric of the "war on coal" to present compelling and often heartbreaking stories about what is at stake for our economy, health, and climate. For more information, please visit
From the Ashes explores the experiences of Americans in communities across the country as they wrestle with the legacy of the coal industry, and what its future should be. From Appalachia to the Powder River Basin, the film goes beyond the rhetoric of the “war on coal”.

Check out the Village Recycling Guidelines here.
