Orillia Babywearing Group Meeting
Thursday January 14th @4:30pm
Orillia Midwives Clinic, Upper 22 Colborne St.

Bring your carrier or try one of ours! Families are invited to come and practice their babywearing skills or learn how to use carriers for the first time. This event runs nicely with a combination of both seasoned babywearing families and those who are just learning the basics.


 
Orillia Mom's Peer Support Group
Tuesday January 5th & 19nd @ 10:00am
Orillia Public Library Children Department

Orillia Parents Peer Support Group will be meeting twice this month at the Orillia Public Library children’s section program room, 10-11:30am. A welcoming environment for caregivers to share stories, issues, and experiences. Toys. Crafts and snacks (nut-free, gluten-free, and vegan options) are provided.

This group is drop in and friendly for children, parents and all family members alike!
Orillia Le Leche League
Wednesday January 20th @7:00pm
Ontario Early Years Centre, 80 Colborne St. W.

LLL Canada encourages, promotes and provides mother-to-mother breastfeeding support and educational opportunities as an important contribution to the health of children, families and society. If you are a woman interested in breastfeeding, you are welcome to attend La Leche League meetings. Anytime is a good time to come to a meeting, whether you are pregnant, have a new baby or are needing support or information beyond the first few months.

***Babies and young children are always welcome.
Homebirth Information Session
Wednesday January 20th @ 5:00pm
Orillia Midwives Clinic

We invite all families interested in homebirth to attend, and those who have had a homebirth in the past to come and share their experiences. Bring your questions, any interested members of your family, and enjoy an evening learning all about homebirth.
