July 13, at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. services, Yvette Flunder, the founder of San Francisco’s famous City of Refuge UCC in 1991, will be preaching. City of Refuge is a thriving inner-city congregation that celebrates the radically inclusive love of Jesus Christ.  Come one and all to hear this dynamic leader in the United Church of Christ.
Hope to see you in Navasota, Texas this weekend!  This will be the annual meeting of the South Central Conference of the United Church of Christ.
All are invited to celebrate with Zion United Church upon the Installation of their new pastor, Rev. Buck Malone.  The service will begin at 4pm with a reception to follow. Folks travelling should have no worries getting back home before sunset. There will be a 30 minute service followed by a light meal in the Fellowship Hall.  No need for clergy to robe.

Zion United can be located from the south by following HWY 6 to Clifton and then six miles east on FM 219. From the north, take HWY 22 through Hillsboro and Whitney and then make a left (west) onto FM 219 for 3 miles. If you are using software mapping, simply type "Womack" and you will see the church right on the FM road. The address of the church is: 1411 FM 219, Clifton, TX, 76634. But, be warned, all deliveries made to this address show the church being 3 miles to the west of Clifton. N.B. GPS, Google, and all other mapping applications have our church confused with the Church of Christ, Clifton. Simply type, "Womack" and you will be directed correctly.
