Two of my favorite Thanksgiving sweet potato recipes

My family always wants me to make my famous sweet potato biscuits for Thanksgiving and other special dinners. They’re absolutely delicious, especially when they're hot out of the oven or warmed up later.

Sweet potato biscuits are a local favorite on the Delmarva Peninsula where I grew up. The recipe on my blog includes a short video where I show you how to make them.

And then, there's this classic -- Sweet Potato Casserole with Marshmallows. Would it even be Thanksgiving without it?
Time-saving tip: For Thanksgiving, I typically cook several sweet potatoes the day before -- enough to make the biscuits and the casserole. Then, I'll either make the biscuits Wednesday or I refrigerate the baked sweet potatoes and make biscuits Thursday morning. If I do the casserole ahead of time as well, then I assemble it and refrigerate; then bake it with the rest of our Thanksgiving meal. If I make the biscuits ahead of time, I warm them up to serve with dinner.
