Challenge Yourself for our 30th Anniversary Year
Support us and get fit for our 30th Anniversary year! We're throwing down the gauntlet and asking our supporters to run, walk, bike, or swim for Birchwood Highland. The first of these month-long challenges is in March when participants can run 30km at their own pace throughout the month. 🏃

Dinner with the Stars

Birchwood Highland is delighted to announce a very special evening for food-lovers featuring this year’s winner of Masterchef: The Professionals, Gary Maclean.

Fans of the hit BBC2 show will know Gary beat 47 other chefs over seven weeks of cooking to be named winner by tough judges Marcus Wareing, Monica Galetti and Gregg Wallace. Now he’s doing his bit for charity and heading to the Highlands for Birchwood Highland’s Dinner With The Stars.

The event, which sold out in its glittering Highland debut last year, will be held in the beautiful setting of Strathpeffer Pavilion. And this year it’s even more special as it’s Birchwood Highland's 30th anniversary bash, too.

Gary will create the main dish for the Dinner With The Stars event and be joined by top class chefs from around the Highlands who will each be in charge of the starter and dessert.

With great entertainment and gala auction, all in the fabulous setting of Strathpeffer Pavilion, it's set to be a very special evening.

Tickets are £45 and are available for individuals or for groups of up to 10 (tables for 10 are priced £400 - call Veronica on 01463 236 507 to book). Transport to and from Inverness will be available.

The #YearOfHappiness

This year we're exploring the 'H' word and finding out what makes people happy!

Here in the Highlands we live in a unique spot which can help support happiness in many ways. We have one of the greatest landscapes in the world, promoting feelings of wellbeing just to look at it, let alone get out there and experience those hills, forests and beaches. Many people have the time and opportunity to offer help to others. We’re a bunch of caring, sharing folk.

Who better to ask about happiness than you? To celebrate Birchwood Highland’s 30th anniversary, we’ve launched The Highland Happiness Project, collecting the thoughts of the community and sharing unique takes on happiness. We wanted to listen to your experiences, to pass a piece of your happiness on.

Share what makes you happy by using #YearOfHappiness on Instagram and Twitter, or commenting on our Facebook page. You can also visit our Happiness Blog
