This Foundation Training offers an opportunity to develop a working understanding of a systemic constellation approach, which can be used to resolve personal, family and social issues. This course has been running for over 20 years and is a valued resource for those wishing to engage in personal and professional development; it provides a truly fresh perspective on yourself, your life, your work and the family and community groups to which you belong. The Foundation Training may be undertaken as an independent course or as the first step in the CSC Applied Professional Training.
International Guest - The Neuroscience of Trauma and Addictions
May 10th and 11th
We are delighted to welcome back to the UK, by popular demand, Sarah Peyton. Sarah presented the morning lectures at our Trauma Conference in 2017 and those present felt that they had not had nearly enough of her teaching. Sarah’s talks at the conference can be accessed on the Resources page of the CSC website. During this guest workshop Sarah will be looking at the neuroscience of trauma and addictions, and how constellations heal the brain. She will explore the interplay of neuro science, emotions, values and longings so that we can begin to understand the purpose of our negative self-talk and the stress we hold from past trauma. With clarity and exercises, Sarah synthesises the latest developments in neuroscience, trauma treatment, and the power of empathy into an effective healing method that literally re wires our brain and restores our capacity for self-love, emotional regulation, and well-being. Highly recommended.
Five Realms – A New Way of Seeing - June 2018
A five-day residential course lead by Judith Hemming and Gaye Donaldson.
There are only a few places left for this one-off residential workshop. Constellation work is expanding beyond the original thinking and teaching of the last two decades. It is now widely regarded as having value in many different realms such as the body, the personal field, and the wider collective and archetypal fields. Further still, constellation work is used as a way to connect to the divine. Knowledge and understanding of these different realms is invaluable when we wish to deepen our exploration of personal, political, educational and social issues, or when we seek to illuminate profound ecological and spiritual questions. Understanding the realms also plays a part in the development of creativity. Becoming familiar with this new aspect of constellation work will undoubtedly widen the range and application of this work for all practitioners.
Supporting Practice - An On-Going Group for Advanced Practitioners
On 9th May 2018 we will be starting a new on-going practitioner group in London. This group will meet for 6 days a year and can be joined at any meeting. This group will create a community that offers support, supervision, CPD and new teaching to those who have completed their Applied Training (year 2) and are integrating SCW into their professional lives. Private clinic days with our International Workshop Guests are included so that we stay in step with the wider field of the work. All graduates of the Applied Training will be contacted by email in the coming week. If you don't get an email and would like more information please get in touch with: email@example.com.
Ancestral Connections – A Constellations and Conscious Dance Workshop
May 12th and 13th
Visiting from South Africa, this workshop will be run by Tanja Meyburgh and Sian Palmer. Sian and Tanja bring a passion for the African continent and the wisdom its people brings. With her feet firmly grounded in the soil, Tanja offers a deeply phenomenological approach and a particular way of listening to the innate body wisdom. Sian weaves this together with her selection of curated African rhythms, eclectic soulful world and contemporary beats. This combination allows participants to immerse themselves deeply in the body and senses and to expand into the fullness of the field. Our ancestors were real people who lived and died, and they are also within us in our DNA, our epigenetics. We can access incredible wisdom and knowing through the body, and what we sense into in the movement form.
